Ayam Brand Celebrates 130 Years of Homely Goodness

To honour 130 years of service and success in the Food and Beverage industry, Ayam Brand is celebrating this momentous milestone with an anniversary campaign aptly named “Taste of Home”. The leading household food brand has been around for more than a century, providing nutritious, tasty, convenient food to countless families in the region.

In celebration of its longstanding commitment to Malaysians, Ayam Brand is paying tribute to the ‘flavours of home’ created from its wide variety of products by generations of Malaysians.

“130 years is a long journey of serving the community, and we believe that many Malaysians across generations have been part of Ayam Brand’s journey at one point in time. Ayam Brand Recipe Book

As part of the campaign, Ayam Brand brought together 130 recipes from local celebrity chefs and home cooks to be included in a limited-edition recipe book titled ‘130-Years of Homely Goodness’. The hope is that they will inspire new culinary creations using Ayam Brand’s diverse selection of canned foods.

The recipe books contain new and easy-to-follow recipe ideas for your daily meals. Some recipes featured include a Coconut Sardine Pancake with Baked Beans for breakfast, Vegetarian Kway Teow for lunch, and stir-fry mackerel and soba noodles for dinner.

Celebrate at Sunway Pyramid

Malaysians are welcome to join in on the celebration this November at Sunway Pyramid from 2 November 2022 to 6 November 2022. During the event Ayam brand will pay homage to the unique Malaysian flavours that we all know and love, the many tastes of home.

The “Taste of Home” roadshow will be held at Sunway Pyramid, LG Orange Concourse where visitors can learn stories about the brand; their history, their milestones, their sustainable canning process etc.

Visitors can shop for their favourite foods at an Ayam Brand Mini Mart and explore new recipes with Ayam Brand products as well. There will also be trendy Ayam Brand merchandise curated in collaboration with UTme and a photo op at the Ayam Brand Kitchen where visitors can take pictures.

Visitors can participate in some charity work too as Ayam Brand is also combining food and philanthropy at their 130-year anniversary event. Three special Ayam Brand hot delicacies will be sold at the event at affordable prices, with all proceeds going to orphanages across the country.

A Fusion of Food and Fashion

Food and fashion come together during this month-long celebration. In a collaboration with UNIQLO Malaysia, Ayam Brand will be curating an exclusive clothing line comprising of tees and tote bags called “Taste of Home” UTme! collection.

The items are all customisable, with vintage nostalgic and modern inspired Ayam Brand designs to reveal the brand’s stylish personality. Fans can get their hands on their very own Ayam Brand merchandise at Fahrenheit 88 and UNIQLO DA Square.

Shoppers can also get a physical copy of the ‘130-Years of Homely Goodness’ recipe e-book with any purchase of the t-shirt or tote bag from the UNIQLO “Taste of Home” UTme! collection while stocks last.

Tastemaker Showcase

Ayam Brand has been a favourite not only amongst home chefs, but also various culinary establishments, restaurants and other F&B businesses. Eateries who have used Ayam Brand products for years if not decades to produce their menu items and recipes.

In commemoration of this invaluable symbiosis between brand and business, Ayam Brand will feature two of their most successful tastemakers for the anniversary event.

Finally, in their effort to advocate for eco-friendly lifestyles and business practices, Ayam Brand is organising a recycling drive to encourage more households to adopt the simple habit of recycling.
