Boy Falls Out of Car, Miraculously Survives After Being Hit by Two Cars

A shocking dashcam video has recently emerged, revealing a young boy tumbling out of a moving vehicle in Kota Bahru, Kelantan, just moments before being struck by two cars.

The video, shared on Facebook and lasting approximately 25 seconds, captures the incident in vivid detail.

In the footage, a child falls from the rear passenger door of a dark Honda City while the vehicle executes a U-turn.

The incident occurred at a traffic light junction along Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra.

Before the boy can regain his footing, he narrowly avoids a collision with a white sedan.

But as he attempts to stand up, he’s struck by a red SUV, which sends him tumbling forward.

Miraculously, the child manages to get back on his feet—bewildered but otherwise alive.

A compassionate passerby, riding a motorcycle, quickly rushes to his aid, rescuing the boy from the perilous traffic.

The dark-coloured Honda City, from which the child fell, comes to a halt at a considerable distance from the junction.

The footage may be viewed below. Viewer discretion is advised.

At present, law enforcement is actively seeking the driver of the Honda City and conducting a thorough inquiry into the incident, focusing on potential charges of reckless and hazardous driving.

According to Supt Suhaimi Jusoh, the head of the Kelantan Traffic Enforcement Investigation Department, there are suspicions that the boy’s fall from the car was potentially a result of the driver’s alleged negligence.

This negligence reportedly involved failing to properly secure the left car door and neglecting to fasten a seat belt on the child, as per the New Straits Times.

Eyewitnesses are encouraged to come forward to aid the investigation.

So far, there have been no updates as to the fate of the boy or the parents.

Hopefully, we will know more in the coming weeks.

Car Safety and Kids

It’s important to always practice car safety when having a child onboard.

But this does not just mean safe driving; it also means safe supervision of underage passengers.

Kids need to be strapped to a child restraint system (CRS) to prevent them from accidentally unfastening themselves out of curiosity.

The car door must also be fitted with a child-proof device and kept locked at all times.

Even if travelling for only a short distance.

Otherwise, this same incident may happen again, with a less favourable outcome.

Hopefully this video will be a reminder to all of us not to take a child’s safety so lightly, especially when on the road.

Remember to practice car safety and protect your children on the road at all times.
