Celebrate the Spirit of Charity This Holiday Season

flood-rescue-malaysia

It seems that for many Malaysians, this coming New Year may not be celebrated with laughter and merriment, but with tears and heartache. The recent floods that have been happening nationwide—and in the midst of a pandemic, no less—signals a bitter end to 2021. Some of us may not get the chance to celebrate Christmas, let alone spend the holidays at home with family and friends.

To those who are in high-risk zones, do make preparations in case you need to evacuate. If you want to know more about areas affected by the flood, do visit the Public Infobanjir Official Website to stay up to date on the latest announcements.

Aside from that, if you know anyone who is affected by the floods, don’t forget to lend a helping hand. If you’re able, please consider helping them weather through the storm. If you want to make an anonymous donation to the various humanitarian organisations currently assisting with flood relief efforts, here are some channels you can go through.
