Fret not! This is an easy and quick lunchbox for your kids. We all can enjoy sandwiches at any time of the day, am I right? First, you need to have a bento box that has 4-5 compartments which can fit a few other foods as well.

So, what kind of sandwich is suitable for your kids? Ask them what is their favourite type of sandwich.

For example, you can make egg sandwiches, ham and cheese, grilled cheese, turkey sandwiches, ham sandwiches and many other varieties that you can prepare.

Cut them into square or triangle shapes, according to your liking and fit them into the lunchbox. The other compartments can be filled with fruits like grapes or sliced apples and you can also put snacks like pretzels for your kids to munch.

Malaysia is a diverse country that has unique Malay, Indian, and Chinese foods that we all love, and one of them is noodles!

‘Bihun,’ ‘Mee,’ ‘Kuey Teow,’ ‘Pan Mee’ and ‘Laksa’ are few of the dishes that we all enjoy. For your kid’s lunchboxes, it is recommended to fry them instead of serves noodle soup. Any type of noodle soups is not suitable for lunchboxes as it can easily spill.

Now, make your own version of fry noodles such as ‘bihun’, ‘mee’ or ‘kuey teow’. To fill the lunchbox, you can also add sausages and fish balls.

In addition to the lunchbox, don’t forget the greens for your kids! Slice up some cucumber, broccoli or tomato in small cuts and insert them so that they can have a healthy and balanced lunchbox.

This lunchbox is for kids who love sweets, especially if they start to get bored with bread, rice and pasta. This menu will save the day!

Parents do not have to waste time making their own dough because you can simply get any instant dough that is available in many flavours such as chocolate chips, vanilla and cinnamon. Yummy!

Ask your children what their favourite flavour of pancake is and once you buy them, just put some water and you are good to go.

Heat up your pan and pour the batter into a small circle for a cute pancake lunchbox. When you are done, add some fruits like strawberries and blueberries for more flavour (and nutrition!). Don’t forget to add butter and honey to complete the pancake lunchbox!

All you need is some creativity when you are preparing a lunchbox for your little one. Remember, the virus is still out there. You do your part and teach your kids to do their part by minimising contact with a lot of things and people.

Not to mention, a lunchbox prepared by a mother is much more meaningful and delicious compared to other foods out there. Try it once, and see how your kids will look forward to every lunchbox that you will make!
