A gaming room is a space that’s dedicated to a video gaming system. Usually this takes the form of a PC or a flat screen LCD television that is hooked up to a gaming console. A dedicated space for fun times such as gaming is beneficial as gaming screens usually need low lights to create the ambience needed for players to fully immerse themselves in the game.
Here are some of the gaming room setups we particularly like.
Double Time
Why have only one gaming setup when you can have two. Here, a long yet simple wooden table hosts two gaming PCs side-by-side. This type of setup is particularly perfect for gaming couples or roomies.
Notice that the gaming chairs are comfortably made of fine mesh material? This is extremely suitable for Malaysian weather as it keeps the player’s backs cool and dry in our humid climate. A small notice board is hung between the two PCs, which will come in useful to leave each other notes and the like.
Dark Tones
A gaming room design like this is perfect for small spaces. Believe it or not, dim lighting is very common for game rooms and contributes to its immersiveness. Here, dim light comes from a blue lamp on the ceiling, and a small pink lamp on the table.
LED wall mounts give it a street vibe, which is great if you want the room to be more rugged and less refined.
Gaming Room with a Warm Touch
Warm orange and red tones with a contrastingly dark background give this gaming space a fiery aura. Interestingly, the screensavers on the double monitors also function to add to the colour scheme.
Additionally, warm highlights can be found on the speakers, the desk surface and a decorative plaque above the gaming area.
A comfortable and plush gaming chair accompanies this setup. It is made even more comfortable with a black and white cushion which adds character to the room.
Blue Highlights
When it comes to a gaming table, some gamers may opt to go with medium sized or small ones. However, some prefer otherwise. As seen in this design, a long and large table dominates this room. The table comes equipped on either side with drawers which add much needed storage space.
A modern looking CPU graces one side of the spacious table, which sports a relatively small monitor. The highlights of this setup have got to be the blue lamps, which give out limited yet adequate light and sets the mood for the next gaming session.
White Delights
Contrary to the other ideas in this list, here’s a gaming room that seems bright and airy. It is located next to the window and even features a large potted plant. The presence of both will help refresh the eyes and mind when you take screen breaks.
Additionally, a sleek white gaming chair completes the other smooth textures of the black and white gadgets present, including the VR goggles located on top of the CPU.
Gaming Rooms for the Win
As the saying goes, as work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Therefore, in balancing out your life, having a room or space dedicated to gaming is actually something good. As a gamer, a dedicated space will also be an opportunity for you to have friends and loved ones over for bonding over your favourite quests and more. Have fun gaming!
