Hentitugas: Live Updates on Klang Valley Water Supply Restoration

Air Selangor launches a website enabling Klang Valley residents to keep track of real time data and updates pertaining the water supply restoration in affected areas.

Here is a website thoroughly mapping out information pertaining all affected areas in a simple user-friendly layout. This includes, percentages to the water supply recovery of these areas.

Restoration in these areas commences in stages from 5pm this evening. Users are able to obtain real time updates of the restoration progresses through the Hentitugas website, at https://hentitugas.airselangor.com.

Head of corporate communications to Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), Elina Baseri, affirmed that apart from the recovery rate, the real time data is also inclusive of access to Public Water Taps and Commercial Filling stations through the Klang Valley areas.

As the Hentitugas website loads up, you will be greeted with the following page, prompting you to select ‘More Details’.

From there, you will be directed to the next page containing tabs leading to data of all affected areas in Klang Valley. You will also be able to view the locations of Public Water Taps available within the vicinities. Additionally, Hentitugas shares the locations of Commercial Water Filling Stations available in the Klang Valley and the website’s ‘FAQS.’

Those affected by the water supply disruption are provided active public water taps as alternative water supplies.

If you would like to navigate to one, click on the location and it will automatically load up the location via Google Maps or Waze.

The ‘Incident Status Update’ option, on the other hand, supplies an onslaught of updates on the reparation works currently taking place all affected areas. Here, you will find everything under the sun related to the water restoration progress of the selected areas.

As you select the option, ‘Affected Areas,’ you will then find an incredibly thorough map. In it, details the status of every area. Those in red mean ‘Areas that are still affected’, yellow means ‘Supply with low pressure’, and green denotes ‘Water supply has been restored’.

The following depicts a map of Klang Valley. Here, it reports that as of this very moment, most of the districts and areas still remain red. Of which, only three to four areas are yellow at the moment.

The map’s legends can be found under the map itself. There is also a search bar to fill in your desired district locations.

There is also an option on the same page to key in your search for the area or district of your interest.

As you do, a pop-up then appears. This little box details the status of the water supply, including information on the estimated recovery time and the recovery percentage of the said area.

On the same page, scroll just a little bit downwards and you will be greeted with even more information. Here, you can obtain the recovery times, durations and recovery percentages for every single region in the Klang Valley.

Full restoration of water supply for the affected areas in Klang Valley are expected by this Saturday (Oct 16) at 9pm. However, as water restoration will be done in stages, yours may not take till then. Hence, do keep track of the water restoration updates within your residential areas via Hentitugas.
