The TikTok Awards was held on the 27th of August to celebrate the content creators of Malaysia.
Khairul Aming was the winner for the grand award, ‘Creator of the Year’.
During his award acceptance speech, he thanked his parents, teachers and all those that supported him these last eight years.
He also didn’t forget to pass on an advice to the younger generation.
Khairul Aming advised those that are still in school and want to become a content creator to continue studying.
He continued to say that becoming a content creator is not just about becoming popular.
It needs critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and constant knowledge in general.
He finished his speech, telling the younger generation to continue study and become the next generation of content creators.

For his speech last night, Khairul Aming was praised thousands of people.
He posted his speech on his Instagram and TikTok profile and many were quick to like and comment the post.
Many people congratulated him and many praised him for his advice.

Another commented, “Thank you for mentioning education. As a teacher, the advice is very meaningful for the kids out there. Congrats Aming!”
Why Focusing on Studies Is Important
It may seem easy to become famous, post a video and wait for the likes to come in.
Sometimes, people go as far as to dropout to try and become famous, among other reasons.
In a study, it was found that 211 thousand students failed or skipped SPM from 2019 to 2021.
Studying is important to everyone for a number of reasons and that includes:
1. Building Personal Skills
Studying helps build skills such as problem solving and critical thinking skills.
These skills are what helps people do better in life.
2. Helps with Self Discipline
Studying requires focus and motivation, without that one might get distracted easily.
Studying helps with self-discipline that forces you to focus and follow the time schedule if they have one.
3. Become More Responsible
Studying remains important, regardless of what career they had their minds set on.
Studying can help someone become more aware of their future and therefore feel responsible to make it a great one.
4. Gain More Knowledge
Knowledge is never ending; you can find it anywhere.
It takes knowledge to succeed in what you want to do.
Remind Kids to Keep Studying
It’s okay to let them explore their options for a future.
However, keep reminding them to continue to study.
Kids need as much knowledge as possible and if they have the chance to continue further, encourage them.
