Kumon Malaysia is proud to announce its entry into the Malaysia Book of Records as the Largest Mathematics Enrichment Centre and Largest English Enrichment Centre in the country.
This historic recognition will be celebrated at the Kumon Advanced Student Forum (ASF) 2025.
The certificate presentation, to be officiated by a representative from the Malaysia Book of Records, will be held in conjunction with the Advanced Student Forum, where Kumon celebrates students who are studying five years ahead of their school grade level, as well as those who have completed the Kumon Mathematics or English programme.
This year’s ASF is especially meaningful, as Kumon Malaysia celebrates three decades of empowering children across the nation through its unique learning method.
Over the last 30 years, Kumon has grown into a trusted name among Malaysian parents, with more than 200 centres and over 42,000 students nationwide.
‘We are deeply honoured to be recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records in our 30th year,’ said Takashi Takeda, General Manager of Kumon Malaysia.
‘This milestone reflects the commitment of our instructors, staff, students, and parents, who have worked together to make Kumon a transformative force in Malaysian education.
It also highlights our vision of nurturing confident, independent learners who thrive well beyond the classroom.’
The Advanced Student Forum is one of Kumon Malaysia’s most anticipated events, designed to celebrate the achievements of students who have demonstrated exceptional academic perseverance.
These students are examples of what is possible through consistent effort, strong support systems, and the proven Kumon Method.
Their success stories continue to inspire the wider Kumon community to pursue excellence.
By earning the titles of the largest Mathematics and English enrichment centre in Malaysia, Kumon affirms its leadership in after-school education.
The recognition not only highlights Kumon’s scale, but also its consistent impact on student growth and self-learning.
In line with Kumon Malaysia’s focus on continuous improvement, Kumon Connect, a digital learning platform that allows students to complete worksheets on tablets while preserving the essential elements of the Kumon Method – represents a key step forward in Kumon’s evolution.
This innovation ensures the method remains relevant and accessible to new generations of learners.
As Kumon Malaysia celebrates this record-breaking and anniversary year, it renews its commitment to helping every child unlock their full potential and develop skills that last a lifetime
