In the spirit of togetherness, check out the new global short film by The LEGO Group which help to bring families back together through the joy of play this festive season. The video serves as a heartfelt tribute to the importance of creative play and its ability to strengthen family bonds during the holidays.
It follows the story of 12-year-old Eddie who has forgotten the magic of play and prefers the solitude of his room over the joy of family fun this holiday season. However, his younger sister has other plans.
With a simple click of a LEGO® brick, she brings to life the mischievous Cataclaws and a mass of LEGO® minifigures to bring Eddie back to his family.
Their strategy? A cheerful remix of Lionel Richie’s timeless classic “Hello”. The brand-new LEGO Holiday Choir reimagines the iconic 1984 power ballad with a playful twist, asking the world, “Is it play you’re looking for?”. The lyrics have been crafted to match the scenes and characters, including humorous lines like “In my dreams you stepped on me a thousand times!”.
The Choir is a vibrant ensemble of hundreds of minifigures representing the full breadth of the LEGO Group’s universe, featuring fan favourites from Star Wars, Wicked, Ninjago, Friends and more.
LEGO fans will be delighted to spot some of the most iconic and beloved LEGO minifigures, such as Darth Vader, Spider-Man, Hulk, Glinda, Elphaba and even Hotdogman.
Together, they remind Eddie – and all of us – that when we miss out on play, we also miss the chance to build family bonds and create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime.
As an exciting local extension of the global holiday campaign video, The LEGO Group is turning up the festive spirit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with a spectacular visual celebration.
This season, Malaysians will be treated to a larger-than-life festive video animation lighting up a prominent city tower – featuring Cataclaws and beloved LEGO minifigures.
Brimming with colour, movement and holiday magic, these specially curated animations will showcase the characters coming together to share the warmth and wonder of the season, while sending their heartfelt festive greetings to all Malaysians.
Catch the seasonal tower takeover at Menara TSLAW from Thursday to Sunday, 4 to 7 December 2025, from 7:00pm – 12:00am.
Have a brick-tacular adventure at LEGO Twinkle Town: Home of Santa’s Magic
To encourage more family playtime this holiday, The LEGO Group has partnered with 1 Utama Shopping Centre to create a fun and joy-filled immersive experience.
The showcase runs from 4 to 28 December 2025, inviting families to rediscover the joy of play with an immersive showcase of LEGO festive installations and fun activities to bond meaningfully with loved ones this festive season.
Upon entering the event area, you will be greeted by the LEGO Santa’s Christmas Factory which glows like a jewel next to the LEGO Santa’s Post Office where Santa’s little helpers pack LEGO gifts for adults and children alike, to share the joy of LEGO play.
Register at the entrance and collect the event leaflet to begin your playful holiday journey through a slew of activities.
Kickstart your holiday adventure, where you Sleigh It by helping Santa get ready for his big night to rocket through the skies and deliver cheers in record time! Build your own boosters and supercharged additions to attach to the pre-built sleigh for a more enhanced look and power.
Once the sleigh is complete, place it on the screen pedestal for a test drive and use the wheel to steer it through the skies!
At the next activity, share the festive fun with everyone by building the sweetest gingerbread house together at the Gingerbread House activity station. Simply grab a baseplate and add unique, festive LEGO brick designs to the giant LEGO Gingerbread House.
Visitors can also share the joy of LEGO play by joining the heartwarming #BuildToGive initiative running since 2017 to give a gift to a child in need. Participate in this meaningful tradition by building a customised LEGO Heart at the Build To Give activity station.
Then, snap a photo of your build and post it on social media with the hashtags #BuildToGive and #LEGOMY. Remember to drop the LEGO Heart into the collection box to cement the contribution!
Upon completion of these activity stations, head on to the redemption counter with the stamped event leaflet to redeem a complimentary LEGO Ornament Present and a RM10 LEGO voucher.

Meet the LEGO Santa Mascot at the event on selected weekend time slots to bring the magic of play to life!
You can also create lasting memories by uploading a photo of you and your loved ones with the various spectacular festive photo opportunities at the event, with the hashtags #LEGOMY, #RebuildTheWorld and #IsItPlayYoureLookingFor. Then, head to the Hashtag Printing Booth to collect your customisable frame printouts!
