Simply put, they know you well. That is natural as they are not just your friend but your best one. So, as you enter into marriage, you can skip the early phase of getting to know each other. This has a lot of benefits to a marriage.

If you are a sensitive person, they already know the things that can easily hurt you. So beforehand, they can prevent that and protect your feelings.

And if you are quite a hot tempered person, they will be able to avoid any arguments and fights as they know what can trigger you and possibly, how to calm you down. Isn’t that great?

When your spouse is your best friend, you cherish and respect them before taking that big step. So when you disagree with each other, for example, you might be able to do it with respect and understanding as they are someone special to you. You migtht even be able to agree to disagree.
