Motherhood Choice Awards 2021 virtually announces more than 100 award winners in recognising the safest and most innovative mother and baby brands in the Malaysian market.
Over 6,000 voters joined together for a 4-month voting process from June to September to determine the winners of the Motherhood Choice Awards 2021, recognising brands for their outstanding contributions to the parenting community. This year’s award edition had hundreds of brand entries in over 100 categories under the four primary specifications: pregnancy, newborn, toddler, and family with an emphasis on products and services targeted to pregnancy, maternity, baby, toddler, and kids.
Motherhood Choice Awards was developed back in 2019 to support local parents, particularly mums, in their parenting journeys by providing their tried-and-true feedback on meritorious items and, as a result, promoting them to other parents. This award strives to inspire other brands to strive for excellence by not only honouring firms that have helped millions of people on their road to parenthood, but also by recognising brands that have helped millions of people on their route to parenthood.
The winning products and brands for Motherhood Choice Awards 2021 are voted by respondents based on the attributes of Trustworthiness, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, Innovation, and Social Responsibility. Ultimately, these brands have demonstrated a deep understanding of their target consumers over the past year.
Notably, all of the chosen winners were successful in winning the hearts of Malaysian parents, but seven one exceptional brands emerged receiving the most praise: Clearblue (Best Digital Pregnancy Test in 2021), Friso Gold (Best Premium Cow’s Milk Formula in 2021), TLC (Best Green Liquid Cleanser in 2021), Bubs Organic (Best Baby Organic Formula and Weaning Product in 2021), Cryocord (Best Stem Cell Bank in 2021), Amaby Parenting and Confinement Centre (Best Confinement Centre in 2021) and HOMESOY (Best Original Soy Milk in 2021). Here’s what each of them had to say on their brands’ uniqueness in their respective categories:

“Friso® Gold will continue to innovate products that are not only naturally nutritious but that also promotes good digestion and stronger inside so that children can continue to experience so much more with their parents,” exclaimed Vivian Cheong, Digital Marketing Manager of Friso® Gold.
“What sets us apart from our competitors is that we work towards enabling and inspiring TLC users to care for the community and for the environment every day. Our mission is to develop TLC as the brand of choice by marketing quality household cleaning products and enabling consumers to make their daily routine become an act of kindness,” stated Julia Chong, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Truly Loving Company.
“We wanted to support parents in trying to reduce the chaos of work at home over the past pandemic year. We shared easy preparation recipes with our Bubs cereals and milk, and periodically held live sharing parenting session with our followers,” shared Gwei Tze-Co, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bubs Organic.
“CryoCord started with processing and banking cord blood in one cleanroom to culturing various cells including umbilical cord derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) in 10 Grade B cleanrooms. Today, we offer a suite of MSCs processing and storage derived from bone marrow, dental pulp and adipose tissue,” mentioned Jeremiah Roy, Senior Marketing Executive of CryoCord.
“Amaby Parenting and Confinement Centre is the only postnatal centre founded by a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and a Consultant Paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in their respective fields,” said Dr.Cheah Cheong Wooi, Director and Founder of Amaby Parenting and Confinement Centre.
