Gardening is a great hobby and one of the first questions you’ll need to ask is ‘Are there any plant nurseries near me?’ Having a nursery near you will help you obtain all your planting and gardening needs a lot easier. Additionally, you’ll be able to enjoy shopping for your favourite plants.
Here are some of the ‘plant nurseries near me’ that you can visit, in and around the Klang Valley:
Midorie Malaysia
Midorie is a special type of nursery that sells house plants grown in a soilless growing media called PAFCAL from the Toyota Suntory company of Japan. In addition to selling plants and plant media, they also provide regular workshops. For example, there are workshops on plant arrangements, Japanese culture and terrarium designs. While you shop, you can also grab some Japanese inspired food and drinks at their in-house café, Mori Kohi.

YY Landscaping
YY Landscaping has three branches. Firstly, in Puchong, secondly in Klang and a third in Bangi. They specialise in small flowering plants including species like Roses, Calla lilies, Anthuriums, Gerbera Daisies and the like. They restock with fresh potted flowers several times a week, which means that you get the freshest flowers available.
This is also a really great place to visit if you’re looking to purchase potted flowers as a gift, since potted flowers tend to live and grow much longer than cut flowers.
