In celebration of Ramadan and Hari Raya, Sunway Velocity Mall is organising a “Riuh Ria Raya” campaign. From 8 April to 8 May, a variety of activities and exhibitions await you at the Ground Floor Main Atrium. To honour the spirit of new beginnings, the event features Anthurium flowers, which symbolise happiness and abundance.
To ignite the nostalgia of ‘balik kampung’, the Main Atrium has been converted to a traditional kampung village. Here, you can take pictures at the magnificent kampung house surrounded by Anthurium flowers.
Famous graffiti artist, adulrashade, was also invited to paint a wonderful, articulated mural of Anthurium flowers. The flowers are in full bloom, signifying a new dawn. The striking colours and bold strokes represent life as we celebrate our strength and perseverance in overcoming the recent challenges.
Raya is a celebration that brings us together as a community as it serves as a time for contemplation, forgiveness, and homecoming. The past few years have been a challenging time for us all. But Sunway Velocity Mall hopes that this year will bloom with more opportunities, better health, and a horizon of good fortunes.

Apart from the mesmerising decoration, shoppers can snap pictures with Samsung Single Take Shot at the Main Atrium. You can capture your memorable shopping trip at Sunway Velocity Mall. Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM200 (RM100 for HSBC credit cardholders) in two receipts can redeem an exclusive Abdulrashade Raya packet set. Those who spend RM600 (RM500 for HSBC credit cardholders) in three receipts can redeem RM80 Sunway eMall Raya Vouchers. “Riuh Ria Raya” CSR Program
As Raya is the season for reflection and giving, Sunway Velocity Mall is also organising a “Riuh Ria Raya” CSR campaign. This is to aid students and adults with disabilities in advancing their education and lifestyle. Stationaries, essentials, and tools were donated to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Tasik, Ampang. The mall also built a ramp to aid students in wheelchairs for ease around the school compound. Sunway Velocity Mall also reached out to Dignity & Services to help disabled adults in improving their bakery businesses. The mall provided Dignity & Services a booth during weekends in the mall and also gifted the non-profit organisation with kitchenware.
Sunway Malls, as a whole, continue to reach out & bring joy to the community, especially during the Raya celebration. To thank the police officers for their hard work in keeping the community safe, Sunway Velocity Mall delivered Bubur Lambuk to IPD Cheras as part of Sunway Group’s initiative during buka puasa.
