You know how some people say, “It is not about how you start, but how you finish”?

Well, tell that to someone born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he’ll likely agree; but to those who are not so ‘fortunate’, having a good start does help.

This is why we want you to begin 2024 well.

And what better way to embrace the Year of the Dragon than to receive a ‘Dragon’s Blessing’?

All you and your family have to do is head to Sunway Pyramid from 5 January 2024 to 12 February 2024, where a majestic luck-bringing Dragon will soar through the mall during this Chinese New Year celebration.

Expect to be intrigued by the extensive decor that fuses tradition and innovation.

One of it being a Dragon Palace, which is a must-visit to receive a symbolic ‘roaring’, signifying a vibrant start to the year. It is located at LG2 Orange.

When visiting the Dragon Palace, take your time to stroll through the setting and take loads of pictures.

If you’d like, play dress up as a family while immersing in the enchanting palatial surroundings.

Another option would be to head over to the Chinese Costume Dress Up booth to get dolled up for the pictures.

As you wander deeper into the palace, you will spot the Dragon’s Throne, which you get to sit on and pretend you are the Sunway Pyramid dragon!

However, if you take a closer look at the delightful decor, you’ll notice that most of the pieces used are recycled, adhering to Sunway Mall’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)—the creative way.

Those angpows that line the ornaments are reused from previous Chinese New Year celebrations.

After roaming the Dragon’s Palace, it is time to meet the dragon itself!

Now, Sunway Pyramid’s dragon symbolises luck, and its purpose is to bring good fortune.

This is why it is dressed in gold.

When you finally see it, remember to admire it for a bit and take a few pictures for the ‘luck transfer’ to be complete!
