Sunway Malls ushers in the Raya festivity with Gaya Riang Raya—a modern take on a timeless celebration at 5 of their malls. Gaya Riang Raya was launched on 15 March at Sunway Putra Mall by Mr HC Chan, Chief Executive Officer Sunway Malls & Theme Parks, as well as other senior management of Sunway Malls.
The officiation of the launch of their campaign was signified through the reveal of the campaign’s artwork through a theatrical performance, ending the night with their yearly ‘buka puasa’ session together with representatives and senior management from Sunway Malls as well as invited guests such as mall partners and media guests.
The launch took place at Sunway Putra Mall in a bustling Souk setting, where colourful bazaars and vibrant fabrics fill the mall’s Main Concourse, creating a lively, festive atmosphere. Shoppers can find the same vibrance and participate in a variety of cultural and fun activities in other Sunway Malls.
Each mall offered its own unique interactive experiences, ensuring that every visit was filled with memorable moments:
- Sunway Pyramid brings a Gaya Photo Booth, where shoppers could capture vibrant snapshots of their time at the mall and take home a printed souvenir.
- Sunway Velocity Mall features Interactive Lighting within their Main Atrium, adding an extra dimension of fun to the shopping experience.
- At Sunway Putra Mall, visitors could explore a Clay Exhibition within an Experiential Tunnel, showcasing handmade clay artworks by Touch of Clay.
- Sunway Big Box Retail Park introduces visitors to the Sensory Gaya Lava Land, an immersive and autism-friendly experience sure to engage all the senses.
See artwork by local artists come to life in the malls’ decoration and redemption items, as well as top-tier facilities, amenities, and customer care that turn any ordinary shopping experience into one worth remembering.

On 30 March 2024, there will also be a LUSH bath bomb-making workshop at 3 p.m. where shoppers can make their own special version of the signature bath staple.
