From this 22nd of October to the 7th of November, shoppers at Sunway Putra Mall may indulge in an array of activities. The line-up includes an interactive Rangoli Augmented Reality experience, which leads to a Deepavali Dance Contest, delightful Indian tidbits by LM Sweet & Snacks and also Snacks Giveaway.
A celebration of the Festival of Lights in Sunway Putra Mall promises to unravel a lush landscape of greenery, vivid colours, and the air dripping with festivity! Incorporated beautifully as part of decorations within the mall, Kolam infused with brightly coloured rice grains graces the Ground Floor. A Kolam carries a symbol of auspiciousness and an invitation to the Goddess Lakshmi to drive away evil spirits.

Sunway Putra Mall has launched a Rangoli Augmented Reality (AR) activation all through the festive period!
There’s no better way to dance along with the mall’s iconic, classical Indian dancer, Devi. All you need to do is scan the QR code near the Peacock Kolam and watch as Devi’s virtual reality comes to life.
A virtual Deepavali Dance Contest also commences throughout the 22nd of October to the 7th of November.
Jump into the fun via Instagram from the very comfort of your own home and stand a chance to win attractive prizes worth up to RM 1,000. Sponsors for these prizes, which include hampers and shopping vouchers, are from notable brands like Good2U and Max Fashion.
The air of festivities within the mall vicinities sweetens all the more with the Snacks Giveaway to the lucky first 70 customers, every weekend and public holiday.

Sunway Putra Mall Cares
Aside from all that, Sunway Putra Mall also sparked a noble initiative known as ‘Sunway Putra Mall Cares.’
The mall targets 200 families to receive aids such as food and baby items throughout August to December. To date, over 2,000 kilograms of these items are ready for distribution!
Sunway Putra Mall collaborates closely with a Malaysian non-profit organisation, The Lost Food Project (TLFP) to better kickstart the initiative. Together, they call for shoppers to play a role in helping families in need.
A donation bin can be found at the Ground Floor, beside the Concierge Counter. This is where anyone can donate non-perishable items and daily essentials to those in dire need during this festive season.
