In the spirit of giving, Sunway Putra Mall is also in close collaboration with The Lost Food Project (TLFP) to reach out to families and children from Buku Jalanan Chow Kit (BJCK).
The Goody Aid is one of the few ways shoppers may engage in kindness and compassion for others this Christmas season.
They may either opt for Charity Gift Wrapping- a gift wrapping service (maximum 3 items). After which, they are rewarded with an exclusive Tote Bag upon donating RM10 via Sunway Pay at the Concierge Counter, GF.
Or, they can contribute to Sunway Putra Cares initiative by donating non-perishable items and daily essentials into the Donation Bin located next to the Concierge Counter, GF.
This initiative has been ongoing since August this year and will carry on all the way into December. It targets a generous collection of more than 2,000 kilograms of food and baby items for distribution to 200 families in Klang Valley who were hugely impacted by the pandemic.
Sunway Putra Mall also provides a platform for BJCK to raise money via Bake Sale Fundraiser on Level 1. On weekends, BJCK and its children will be selling cookies, snacks, and other items. So do check them out and buy some cookies if you can—you’ll be aiding a good cause while enjoying yummy snacks! This is also an opportunity to raise awareness on BJCK’s efforts in assisting Chow Kit’s underpriviledged community. All proceeds and contributions will be channeled towards supporting BJCK’s operations.
