How can a cleaning hack keep your kids busy?
Turns out, you can—and all you need are wet paper towels.
Parents on TikTok have always been creative, coming up easy cleaning hacks and tips to make parenting easier.
The latest cleaning hack was shared by TikTok user, Jessi Meeks, a stay-at-home mother of three artistic early risers.
In her TikTok post, she wrote that her kids asked if they could paint at 7:12 in the morning.
Being a stay at home mum to three toddlers, she had to get creative.
She gave her kids wet paper towels to wipe, or in this case, ‘paint’ the floor.
This is a clever cleaning hack to keep kids busy without fussing about the mess early in the morning.
Jessi also mentioned that with this cleaning hack, she could have her morning coffee in peace and quiet.
Sharing Is Caring
The video has garnered almost 80k likes and has over 841k views.
Parents all across the platform commented about the genius idea Jessi shared.
One person even commented, ‘I give kids Clorox wipes and challenge them to come back with the dirtiest wipe’.
Another commented, ‘I told mine the Swifter was my toy, now every day my 3yo runs and tries to get it before I do, to do the whole floor twice’.
While a third user commented on another hack, ‘Also works with plastic spray bottles filled with water and paper towel to ‘clean the door sand glass windows doors’.
Before she posted this current viral hack, Jessi Meeks is also known for her ‘whatever makes you happy hour‘ idea.
Her posts on her TikTok account are mostly about her life with her kids.
By coming up with these ideas and hacks, Jessi Meeks says she can have a little bit of time for herself without worrying about her young ones.
