The school holidays are back so it’s time to plan the best time for you and your kids. After months of work and school, it’s nice to kick back and relax with your family. So, take this precious time to truly bond with one another. But most of all don’t forget to have a fun and good time no matter what it is you decide to do. Without further ado, here are a list of activities, events and other exciting and fun-filled things you can do in this month of June.
Kids Summer Camp
Be prepared for 9 days of fun with the Kids Summer Camp hosted by Playdates KL. From the 5th of June to the 31st, you’ll be able to enroll your kids in a bunch of exciting activities depending on what they’re into. Whether that’s painting, cooking, singing, watching movies or bowling, the choice is entirely up to them. You can inquire the schedule for the camp and choose which day you want to book. Each day will have 5 sessions and each session typically lasts 3 hours and costs RM100. Each day will also have its own theme like Crazy Hair Day, Dinosaur Day, Beach Day, Superhero Day and Disney Day. Even after the break ends, you can still join the activities as they are held on Sundays.

‘Bob the Builder’ Robotics Holiday Camp 2022
Let’s have some fun with some construction activities with this Bob the Builder themed day camp. Organised by World Robotics, this workshop will give your kids all the basics they need for a Build and Fix Mission guaranteed to both entertain and educate your little one. Your kids will learn all about the science behind constructing (and demolishing) a building. Some common construction technologies that will be featured include catapults, pulleys and levers. participants will also be having a lot of fun with LEGOs and other building materials. And at the end of the day, they’ll get to bring home their projects.

Jurrasic World Dominion at Sunway Pyramid
In anticipation of the sixth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World Dominion, Sunway Pyramid is hosting an exciting event featuring our favourite prehistoric species. An exciting list of dinosaur-themed activities await you and your kids this June such as a fossil-making workshop, paleontology station where they will learn to excavatae and identify dinosaur bones. While the kids play, the parents can join the exciting redemption program where they stand a chance to win attractive movie merchandise and many more.

Thomas and Friends at Sunway Putra Mall
Time to say choo-choo and get on the express train to the world of Thomas and Friends as the popular tv show returns as an animated reboot on Netflix. In this event hosted by Sunway Putra Mall, your kids will get to meet the new Thomas and his band of loyal friends, along with some new faces. And here’s the kicker, there will be an actual train that you that will take you on a ride through the mall! Redemption programs are all also organised at the event where you can stand a chance to win exclusive merchandise and other exciting prizes.

Great British Circus
Get ready for a wild ride with the Great British Circus as they resume their tour throughout major cities in the South East Asia region. And this is no smalltown, backwater carnival either. There will be plenty of exciting acrobatics, death-defying stunts, comic relief and entertaining antics. All performed by trained professionals. If your kids are a fan of clowns, acrobats and motorcyclists, this is the event they simply can’t miss.

SuperPark Scavenger Hunt
SuperPark Kuala Lumpur will be hosting a scavenger hunt for the entire school holiday week. So if your kids have a keen eye and superhuman perception, sign them for a 2-hour session. Look for chosen items that are hidden in secret places around the park. Once you find them, claim your prizes and go home with attractive gifts and rewards. Make sure to pack them some super strong grip socks—house rules.

Minions Event at Sunway Velocity Mall
In anticipation of the upcoming Minions sequel, Rise of Gru, Sunway Velocity Mall is hosting a grand event at the Main Atrium where plenty of kid-friendly activities are held. Have a meet and greet with the Minions, join a colouring contest, do some target practice with some toy guns and groove along to a Minions video on a multicoloured disco stage. There will also be plenty of photo ops too where you can take pictures with cut-out pop-ups of our beloved yellow-coloured characters. There’s also a redemption program where you can stand a chance to win exlcusive movie merchandise. So drop by and try your luck!

Daddy and Me Camp
Hosted by Mad About Education, Daddy and Me Camp is a great event for fathers and their children to truly enjoy each other’s company in the refreshing environment of the great outdoors. This two-day event is meant to help your kids develop some essential life skills while promoting emotional and physical wellbeing. It’s also a good bonding experience for father and child. Some cool activities to look forward to include waterfall trekking, nature scavenger hunt, puzzle challenge, wall climbing.

Space Adventure 2.0 Finance Camp
Keep the fun going after the school holiday season with this weekend activity. If you want your kids to polish their money management skills, enroll them in the The Space Adventure 2.0 Finance Camp. There are two classes for two different age groups with varying levels of difficulty. So there’s a place for everyone. In the first class for kids between ages 6 to 9, participants will complete 8 missions where they will learn all about saving, spending and managing money through hands-on activities. In the second class for older kids ages 10 to 14, participants will learn income generation strategies through an interactive board game.
