GoodMorning Global Group Holdings Berhad, a leading biotechnology player with 16 years in Malaysia today relaunched its improved version of VGrains with enhanced formula, MindVProTM
This new formula promises to tackle new-age cognitive development challenges of children and adolescents who are termed as Digital Natives.
The launch was officiated by Dato’ Dr Lee Boon Chye, Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bioeconomy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and former Deputy Health Minister between 2018 and 2020.
The event marks the official launch and availability of the new formula. They also took the opportunity to announce an educational roadshow, VGrains Wonderland, that will take place from the 26th to 30th of June 2024 at Sunway Pyramid.
“We see it as our responsibility to help Malaysian adolescents navigate cognitive growth hurdles posed by a constantly adaptive lifestyle.
Our trademarked new MindVProTM is at the core of this responsibility, with the development of a product that spotlights the combination of Cordyceps Militaris, Palm Tocotrienol, Tiger Milk Mushroom, delivering 3 times higher lutein compared to the previous formulation, a potent antioxidant-proven to maintain eye, brain and skin health to help the children.
Our shift to Biotech research aligned with the National Biotechnology Policy 2.0 has facilitated largely the process of research for this improved formula.
This formula has antioxidants, neuroprotection, eye protection and 18 types of grains which promote phytonutrients that will assist parents to protect their children’s health which may be impacted due to extended screen times, less outdoor play, unhealthy eating habits and reduced interactions,” shared Dato’ Dr Lim Sin Boon, Group Executive Chairman and Founder of GoodMorning Global Group Holdings Berhad.

The new product was ideated and brought to development in early 2023.
With global and local input, the product came together in the Group’s labs in Malaysia and was subject to rigorous testing and improvement to ensure efficacy and safety.

New Age Cognitve Roadblocks
Studies globally have echoed concerns of modern lifestyle and its impact on growing children.
The Youth Index 2020 stated that an average Malaysian Adolescent spends 4 to 5 hours on mobile devices or the Internet daily. That number is expected to increase in the coming years.
The same study explores dietary habits which indicate a significant intake of instant, high sugar and fast food types.
“Our children are at risk! The data proves that Malaysian adolescents spend several hours each day on their devices and are practising food habits which are not optimum for their brain and body health. This lifestyle is adversely affecting their health, leading to problems such as vision issues, mental health issues, nutrient deficiencies and metabolic disorders”, acknowledged Dr Mah Chin Liang, a General Medical Practioneer with interest in family medicine.
