Mother’s Day was celebrated around the world earlier this month. It is a day to express our gratitude to our mothers. This is also true for Ayda Jebat, one of Malaysia’s most interesting celebrities, who celebrated this meaningful day for the first time since the birth of her first child not too long ago.
Since the pandemic started, this year’s Mother’s Day is definitely the right time for everyone to express their gratitude to all mothers after the COVID -19 restrictions were lifted. The Pencuri Hati singer shared on her social media account how it felt to celebrate the special day for the first time as a mother. She also expresses her immense gratitude for having the opportunity to enjoy being a mother.
Ayda Jebat tied the knot with 33-year-old Nabil Mahir, a host and actor, on 1 January last year. The sweet couple welcomed their first daughter, Ana Nayla, on 21 September 2021.
Judging by her recent posts, Ayda is doing her best to raise the perfect family. This popular figure also wants to capture the feeling of motherhood and navigating the right path in her parenting journey.
In one of her recent posts on social media, Ayda talks about what it’s like to celebrate Mother’s Day for the first time since she became a wife and mother. She has been through a lot and felt the true joy, just like all mothers who raise a child.
On her Instagram, she wrote, “My first Mother’s Day. Alhamdulillah. This is the best gift I have ever received, which is my baby.” She uploaded a heartwarming video of happy moments when she was pregnant with Ana Nayla up to until this cutie reached six months old.
Ayda also dedicated the post and thanked all mums who celebrated Mother’s Day earlier this month. She prayed for happiness and perseverance for all heroic mums raising children.
She listed some of the things she had to leave behind for the sake of her beloved baby. Yes, you read that right. Even a celebrity like Ayda has to give up some of the things she’s been doing regularly since becoming a mother. Some things Ayda has had to give up on, as shared on her Instagram:
When becoming a mom…
1. Most moms are not able to regain their original body weight.
2. We have to wear a mid-button shirt (it’s so much easier to breastfeed).
3. Goodbye heels! Hello trainers and sandals, they are more than enough.
4. We need to put on makeup and get ready in 15 minutes.
5. If you are planning to go on holiday, packing clothes and all the necessities seems like forever until you do not get enough sleep.
6. We have to eat in a hurry or eat while holding our baby.
One thing is for sure, Ayda is definitely right. The pressure to welcome a baby is on for all mums. Even for a celebrity like her.
But that does not mean mums have to be perfect when balancing their daily lives, work, and everything in between. All mums have to face more hostility at home and get more support from their husband or loved ones when they share household chores.
This popular figure has not appeared with a new single or projects for quite some time since tying the knot. However, Ayda is finally back with a new Hari Raya song on 30 April 2022.
She recorded the song titled ‘Hari Rayayaya‘ with the help of her two sisters, Fyna and Sabira. The long-awaited comeback is rumoured to be a bridge to more exciting projects of hers to be released sometime this year.
Her legion of fans flooded the comment sections on Instagram as she actively engages with them through social media. We cannot wait for the Temberang singer to announce more updates about her comeback.
