Snow Fungus and Papaya Health Benefits

With snow fungus and papaya being the main ingredients, this dessert soup is prized for its health and anti-ageing properties.

Snow fungus, like any other kind of edible fungus, has no taste on its own and is best used to complement soups. The texture of snow fungus is smooth and gelatinous.

Snow fungus is consumed by the elderly and those with impaired respiratory systems because it is said to be effective in nourishing the lungs, curing dry coughs, clearing heat in the lungs, and treating heart palpitations.

Eating snow fungus strengthens our immune system, thus preventing colds. Aside from that, snow fungus has a high collagen content and is said to have similar health and beauty benefits to bird nests, but at a much cheaper cost. While papaya is high in soluble dietary fibre and an excellent source of Vitamins A and C.

Amazing right? So, that is why I am combining these two ingredients.

Moreover, on hot, sunny days, this refreshing sweet soup dessert with juicy papaya cubes is perfect for you and your family.
