Have you ever had any extravagant experience when delivering your little one? Usually, mothers will give birth at clinics or hospital; that is a very-very common one. However, we seldomly hear about mothers who deliver their babies in cars, right? Here is the latest case where a baby was born in a car!
Hajar Lee on her Instagram account; shared her priceless experience with her followers, where she accidentally delivered her baby in the car while rushing to the hospital. This happened on August 9, 2020.
“It was like a dream”
According to her Instagram post, she did not expect to deliver the baby in her car at all, since they were on their way to Hospital Sungai Buloh. But then, the unexpected thing occurred. She asked her husband to stop the car on the roadside of Sungai Buloh Highway after she could feel her baby’s head was already out.
She said that she started to feel the contractions early in the morning, around 6’o clock. Hence, she packed her hospital bag and grabbed all things needed before waking up the other kids. After that, Hajar and her husband went to their parent’s house to drop their kids and went straight to the hospital.
That was where the climax happened!
‘Baby Myvi’ because the Baby was Born in a Car
When the contractions struck harder, she could not bear them; no more. No Obgyn, no nurses, only Hajar and her husband as her ‘doula’ in their Perodua Myvi. And the most dramatic part was, the baby was safely delivered before the car stops! Her husband held the baby with his left hand while the other hand was holding on the steering.
