Peanut Butter Banana Bites

This recipe only uses 3 ingredients and works amazing as a snack on-the-go. Perfect for when your little ones are teething!
Making this is so simple you can even make it a family activity with your favourite cookie cutters.

Ingredients

  • 1 very ripe banana extra large
  • 3 tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • 1 ¼ cup self raising flour

Instructions

  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
  • Mash peeled banana into a large bowl.
  • Then, stir in peanut butter.
  • Add flour and form mixture into dough.
  • Roll the dough out to 0.5 cm thickness.
  • Make your desired shapes using cookie cutters.
  • Next, place the biscuits in the oven.
  • Bake for a maximum of 15 minutes or until biscuits are browned slightly.

Notes

This recipe requires a short baking time. It varies from 10-15 minutes depending on type of oven.
It will be soft and slightly chewy – perfect for your little ones!

The Best Banana Bread

This Banana Bread tastes better than store bought. Sweetened naturally and filled with pantry staples, it is great for breakfast, tea or even a little treat in lunchboxes.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days and refrigerate for up to 1 week. This recipe contains honey which is suitable only for children 1 year old and above.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp salt if using unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 extra ripe bananas large
  • cup pure honey
  • ¼ cup melted pure butter either unsalted or salted butter
  • ½ cup milk interchangable with yoghurt for a richer texture
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips optional topping
  • 2-3 bananas thinly sliced; optional topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C, fan forced.
  • Grease and line a loaf pan.

Dry Ingredients

  • Combine dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder) in a bowl.

Wet Ingredients

  • Mash bananas and set aside.
  • On a slow fire, melt butter and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In melted butter, add honey, yoghurt or milk, eggs and whisk lightly.
  • Add mixture into bowl with dry ingredients.
  • Stir in flour mixture and mix gently.
  • Add toppings if preferred (chocolate chips or sliced bananas).
  • Pour into loaf pan.
  • Place loaf pan in pre-heated oven for 1 hour 15 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean
  • Cool loaf pan for 15-20 minutes before removal of banana bread.

Smoothies are such lifesavers. They're so yummy and awesome when you're on-the-go.
Go with frozen bananas for this recipe as it gives this smoothie the best thick and creamy texture. This recipe is amazing for breastfeeding mums too!

This super easy fluffy banana pancakes are packed with all the good stuff. Its naturally sweetened and fantastic as breakfast or snacks for your little ones.
My kids have never said 'No' to them and snack on them throughout the day. They take almost no time in preparation and reheats well too!

  • 2 ripe bananas large, mashed with fork
  • 1 fresh eggs medium sized
  • 2 tbsp pure honey optional
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder optional
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup unbleached flour
  • 3 tbsp oats
  • unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Mash bananas to tiny chunks consistency with fork.
  • Beat fresh eggs in.
  • Add honey or skip this step if you've chosen to omit this ingredient.
  • Then, add cinnamon powder.
  • Add baking powder.
  • Next, combine unbleached flour.
  • Add oats.
  • Mix gently. Do not over-mix as this will cause pancakes to be rubbery.
  • Spread a thin layer of unsalted butter over pan and cook some pancake batter to desired shape.
  • Cool the pancakes down and they're ready to be served with your favourite toppings or on their own!

No Fuss Banana Date Oatmeal
