As a Malaysian, it is doubtful if one claims to have never heard of or tasted some delicious ol’ chicken curry, right? 

Yum! I am already hungry just by writing about this. 

Chicken curry is without a doubt, a very prominent dish in Malaysian culture. It is so versatile that anyone can eat it without a fuss.

We have been eating curry this whole time, yet some of us may not be aware of the benefits our health reaps from its consumption. Curry leaves are obviously used in any chicken curry recipe, but do you know what its health benefits are?

Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients

  • Curry leaves
  • Curry powder
  • Onion, garlic, ginger
  • Spices cardamom, star anise, cloves, cinnamon
  • Potatoes
  • Tamarind
  • Coconut Milk

Instructions

  • Saute the onion, garlic and ginger.
  • Add the spices and curry leaves. Saute until crisp.
  • Once crispy, you can add chicken and potatoes.
  • Add water, tamarind, coconut milk, and salt to taste. Done!
