Genting Highlands is a popular weekend destination for Malaysians from all over the Peninsula.

The Bakery, located at the ground floor of Maxims Hotel in Genting Highlands, is one place to grab a light bite, either for breakfast or between meals.

It’s a comfortable, carpeted indoor space with cheerful and bright colours that is sure to wake you up.

Apart from the usual freshly brewed beverages, you can also find a wide selection of cakes, pies, quiche, sandwiches, pastries and puffs.

Everything is ready-made and you can select it from the display case or chiller, and the staff will warm it up for you.

Fairy Tales @ Grand Ion Delemen Hotel

Fairy Tales is a Genting cafe unlike any other.

For one, it is located on the rooftop of the Grand Ion Delemen Hotel, with a semi-open concept so you can get a fantastic view.

Secondly, the café has a sweet flower garden theme, complete with walls of roses and grass laden floor.

In fact, dining here feels just like a picnic.

Among the popular items here are their high tea sets, served in elegant tiered trays.

For a little over RM100, you can take your pick between a sweet, savoury or mixed set.

This welcoming and cheerful café in GohTong Jaya, on the way to the peak of Genting Highlands, specialises in fusion dishes.

Their best-selling creation is their Australian lamb fried rice, or Nasi Goreng Lamb.

Additionally, you’ll find things like Seafood Tom Yum Spaghetti, Penang Hokkien Noodles and Chili Garlic Prawns served with fluffy bread.

If you come for breakfast, you’ll be able to find breakfast sets served with Americano, including kaya toasts and half boiled eggs.

The signature coffee here is their V60 Pour Over coffee, great for any time of the day.

If you’re looking for affordable food, then head on over to Cloud View Café in Genting Permai.

This modest looking Genting cafe has an extensive Chinese food menu, consisting of rice sets, noodles and more.

You can have various types of chicken, pork and fish served with rice and egg.

Some examples include Butter Creamy Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Kam Heong Pork and Thai Style Fish.

Noodles are also part of their menu, as are sandwiches and pasta.

Pulse cafe in Geo38 Residences is the best place in Genting to satisfy your craving for local breakfast items and crafted coffee, no matter the time of the day.

They offer all-days breakfast dishes including Nasi Lemak Ayam, Roti Canai and Kaya Butter Toasts.
