We start off our list with a restaurant that’s actually in Brickfields. MTR 1924 is one of India’s largest chains of restaurants, serving fuss-free one-dish meals to the busy working crowd and families.
Therefore, at MTR, you’ll find simple meals that revolve around different Indian breads like Chapati, Idli, Thosais and more. Subsequently, they also serve thalis, which are set meals featuring rice and one or two types of breads. The thali also includes several vegetables, curries, yoghurt and dessert.

Kayra’s Kerala Cuisine offers refined Indian dining at a really affordable price. Apart from being really healthy, the Indian dishes here are pretty unique too as they’re specific to the region of Kerala, India.
This Bangsar eatery also offers a comfortable and luxurious interior for diners, complete with a brightly lit space filled with gold and Earthy tones.
Some of their most popular offerings include their lunch specials which are served from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily.
Try their Goodness Bowl, which is Millet served with a cucumber onion salad, Masala lentils, mixed Thoran, grilled brinjals, hung curd raita and coconut Chamandhi for only RM23.

If you’re in the mood for fine dining Indian food, then Gajaa at 8 is the answer. This well-decorated restaurant is located at the posh Lorong Maarof in Bangsar.
Gajaa at 8 serves beautifully crafted meals from the Southern city of Kerala, India. You’ll be treated to a fine selection of Biryanis, bread, seafood, chicken, grills, curries and more.
