In conjunction with the Bunga Bunga Raya campaign for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, more than 50 participants from Putra Junior Club (PJC) and Autsome participated in a special hands-on activity called ‘Kiddies Batik Day’ at Sunway Putra Mall on May 22, 2019.
The event started with Batik Painting where children had an opportunity to experience a piece of Malaysian culture during the workshop. They were given pre-waxed batik pattern pieces and nifty little kits for them to paint. Afterwards, they took the piece home as souvenirs.
Next, was the Ceramic Painting conducted by Kraftangan Malaysia where children unleashed their creative spirit through painting. Towards the end of the event, both PJC and Autsome members were seen beaming with pride for making their own art pieces.

Putra Junior Club (PJC) is a kids’ club dedicated to children between the age of 4 and 12 years old. The club is a great way for little ones to make new friends and take part in exciting events throughout the year ─ designed to keep them educated and entertained. Moreover, they are able to enjoy great discounts at selected outlets.
Autsome is targeted to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With over 600 members, each and everyone is welcome to visit the mall during the Autism Friendly Shopping Hours which is every Tuesday (except Public Holiday) from 10am ─ 5pm as it is an effort to provide an inclusive and comfortable shopping experience to the members. Moreover, a series of sensory workshops, health screenings and more are organized in the mall specially for Autistic individuals. These individuals are able to enjoy amazing discounts at selected outlets.
