Ice cream flavours change by the season as new creations are introduced all the time. Apart from ice creams, you can also order parfaits, teas, coffees and other sweet creations.

The interior of Tanuki by Crustz is really special too, and you’ll be able to appreciate its high beamed roofs with plenty of natural light. The entranceway decorated with smooth stones is truly a work of art.

The Owls Café group have successfully opened many outlets all over the Klang Valley. One of their most spacious eateries has got to be New Chapter. It’s on the ground floor of Calvary Convention Centre in Bukit Jalil, and has large glass windows opening up onto views of the neighbouring golf course. There’s also a huge concourse space to run and walk just in front of the café.

In terms of their menu, New Chapter has all the favourite waffles their other outlets are famed for. These include savoury waffles like the Cheecky Chicken and Sally Salmon. There are all day pastas and dinner mains like Pumpkin Risotto with Bacon, Balsamic Chicken and Salmon Truffle Mash.

The Acre by Farm Fresh is a new venture by popular dairy brand Farm Fresh, located in the middle of an actual farm in Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang. Although not technically in Kuala Lumpur, it’s just a short 20-minute drive to this peaceful and green location.

Apart from being able to enjoy farm to table meals of pastas, pizzas desserts and beverages, visitors will also be able to go for tractor rides, farm visits and see cute animals at their petting zoo. The restaurant is open on a first come first serve basis, and you will have to pay a small fee for farm visits; RM10-RM15 for adults and RM5-RM10 for children.

Do take note that for crowd control, entrance for the restaurant and farm closes 2 hours before closing time. The availability of tractor rides also depends on the weather and the crowd.
