When someone mentions Setapak, cafes rarely come to mind. This suburban area is known more for their modest Malaysian kopitiams and food courts when it comes to culinary offerings. This doesn’t mean, however, that there isn’t a Setapak cafe where you can go to for good coffee and brunch.

Here are some of the modern and contemporary cafes you can find in and around Setapak.

Watermark Restaurant

We start off our list with a European style bistro. Watermark restaurant boasts a crisp, white interior that’s almost futuristic. On its menu you’ll find Roasted Duck Leg with spätzle, green beans and cherries, as well as chicken whole leg confit with white pepper sauce and potato ratatouille.

If a full meal isn’t your thing, you can still drop by here for desserts. They have daily cupcakes and cake slices, served with coffee, fresh juices, fizzy drinks and fruit refreshers.
