Salmon Masak Kicap

This dish is more like a snack although it can be also served with rice. Salmon filets are deep fried tempura style and dipped in a homemade soy sauce condiment. The perfect, crunchy savoury sweet accompaniment to any family meal.

Salmon fillet

sweet soy sauce

wheat flour

turmeric powder

Capsicum

Instructions
Dab salmon fillet until dry with a kitchen towel. Cut into bite sized pieces.
In a bowl mix flour, salt and turmeric powder.
Coat salmon pieces in the flour mixture and fry in about an inch of hot oil until golden brown.
To make the dipping sauce,, fry the capsicums in oil under medium heat until tender.
Add in the soy sauce and water and bring to the boil. Season to taste.
Serve the deep fried salmon separately with the dipping sauce.
