Mango Sago Dessert

This dessert featuring some sweet-and-sour mangoes, along with the nice and bubbly sago pearls is a nice and cold treat for your kids on a hot day!

mangoes
pureed

sago pearls

full cream milk

Instructions
Cook the Sago
Bring a pot of water into a simmer.
Add sago pearls into pot, and bring to a simmer.
Stir to prevent sticking.
Once sago pearls are cooked, remove from heat and toss. Let cool.
Rinse under cold water to stop cooking process. Refrigerate.
Prepare the Mango Puree
In a blender or food processor, blend 2 mangoes until they become a smooth puree. Put aside.
Heat the Full-Cream Milk
In a saucepan, add full-cream milk under a medium heat.
Bring to a simmer, and make sure to not burn it.
Add pureed mango puree into saucepan, and stir to incorporate.
Assembly
Pour milk and mango mix into cups.
Add sago pearls into cups, and mix to incorporate.
Add diced mango chunks as a topping. Serve cold.
Notes
You can adjust the thickness of this dessert by adding more or less water according to your baby's preference.
