Instructions
Soak the red dates for at least half an hour.
Remove the soaking water.
Remove the red dates seed as they are considered ‘heaty.’
Peel the apples and remove the core.
In a pot, add red dates, sliced apples, knotted pandan leaves, rock sugar and water.
Bring it to a boil.
Boil until the sweetness of the red dates and apples is soaked in the broth.
You can either use a slow cooker to boil overnight or pressure cook it for at least 30 minutes.
Serve warm or cooled, this elixir of health allows a refreshing drink at any time of the day.
