Thus, this brought us here to do our part to change that. We wish to talk about our challenge and struggle with the attempts and failures of conceiving after the first pregnancy.
Though it might be hard for you to imagine the gap between my 10 years old girl and my 9 months old baby boy, we hope that you can believe in the magic of time.

Our 11-Year Journey Of Conceiving and Pregnancy
Awaiting For Another Miracle After Our Twins
During the first pregnancy, we were blessed with a pair of twins. They are now 10 years old.
After giving birth to the twins, we wished to have more children in our family. Thus, we tried hard for quite a number of years for another conception.
We had never expected that the second pregnancy for our third baby would be so challenging. We had been trying very hard, but we did not receive any good news.
Eventually, we decided to seek some help from our friends who are doctors. We wished to get their opinions on how we could resolve this issue.
Dealing With Emerging Self Doubts
Throughout the attempts of conceiving and pregnancy, we were bombarded with things that led to quite a lot of self-doubt.
Should we go for a treatment or consume supplements?
We were extremely helpless to the extent that we kept on asking ourselves the things that we should do at that point of time to get conceived.
However, our friends reassured us that the timing might not be right. They have also raised the factor of work stress as one of the contributors to our condition.
Indeed, we were stressed. Not only because of our work stress, but also the kind concerns from people around us.
While there were friends and relatives getting pregnant at the same time, our family was swamped with questions from the other family members.
Some would even ask my twin daughters:
Do you want an adik?
Upon hearing our daughter’s response of a big YES, we could do nothing but just to wait for the timing and calling from the God.
Seeking Help From The Specialists
Feeling frustrated after several attempts, we felt the urge of going through some proper check-ups by the specialists.
We managed to have a consultation and several diagnoses by the doctors at the National Population and Family Development Board Malaysia [also known as LPPKN].
As both of us were well, the doctor could not explain the reason behind our failure to conceive.
Fortunately, we saw some hope after the consultation with the doctors at LPPKN. We decided to give it a try with the intrauterine insemination (IUI).
Welcoming Our New Family Members
We started the treatment in March 2020 and it lasted until September 2020. During the treatment, my husband would have to inject me on my stomach for ten consecutive days.
Despite the pain, what made the process to be a little dramatic and funny was my second twin’s reaction.
Whenever she saw some blood coming out during the process, she would be very anxious about what had happened to her mom.
Worry not, everything went well during the process and I could really feel the difference in my body. I had a strong feeling that I was pregnant at the moment.
If I am not mistaken, that day was the 7th of September. I went to buy some Clearblue pregnancy test kits to verify my instinct due to its accurate results.
Upon looking at the positive result, I texted my husband immediately. We were shocked and elated that we shed tears of joy.
Finally, after 10 years of waiting, we have got the rezeki (blessing) from God.
