At the launch, guests were introduced to the range through curated dishes, a live cooking demonstration and a tasting session. The showcase highlighted how the cheese melts, stretches and works across different recipes, from everyday meals to dishes made for sharing.
Food, Community and A Malaysian Record
Beyond introducing the new shredded cheese range, Bega also marked the occasion with a Malaysia Book of Records achievement for the country’s Largest Oven Baked Cheese Melt Sandwich Formation.
To bring the achievement to life, Bega worked with Silent Teddies, a social enterprise that supports the deaf and hard-of-hearing community through employment and social inclusion.
After the formation, the team distributed the sandwiches through Silent Teddies to charity partners.
As a result, the initiative helped reduce food waste while adding a meaningful community touch to the event.
