Processed meats are convenient, and we can’t deny, delicious choices especially when we are pressed for time and ideas.
While they are big on taste, they are, however, also high in sodium and saturated fat, and we know these are very bad for health! Not to mention, the manufacturing processes, ingredients sources, quality of the meats, and hygiene of the factory site of some of these products are questionable, too.
As mums, I think it is fair to say that we all share one common goal, which is to ensure our children get delicious meals and good nutrition, all prepped in hygienic ways and environment. I mean, surely that is not too much to ask, right?
