Mango Sago Dessert

This dessert featuring some sweet-and-sour mangoes, along with the nice and bubbly sago pearls is a nice and cold treat for your kids on a hot day!

Ingredients

  • 2 mangoes pureed
  • ½ cup sago pearls
  • ½ cup full cream milk
  • 1 mango diced

Instructions

Cook the Sago

  • Bring a pot of water into a simmer.
  • Add sago pearls into pot, and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir to prevent sticking.
  • Once sago pearls are cooked, remove from heat and toss. Let cool.
  • Rinse under cold water to stop cooking process. Refrigerate.

Prepare the Mango Puree

  • In a blender or food processor, blend 2 mangoes until they become a smooth puree. Put aside.

Heat the Full-Cream Milk

  • In a saucepan, add full-cream milk under a medium heat.
  • Bring to a simmer, and make sure to not burn it.
  • Add pureed mango puree into saucepan, and stir to incorporate.

Assembly

  • Pour milk and mango mix into cups.
  • Add sago pearls into cups, and mix to incorporate.
  • Add diced mango chunks as a topping. Serve cold.

Notes

You can adjust the thickness of this dessert by adding more or less water according to your baby's preference.

A pudding featuring sweet dates and savoury mangoes, this dessert is perfect for your little ones to enjoy after lunch!

Mashed Potato

  • potatoes diced
  • 125 ml full cream milk
  • cheese powder baby product
  • ½ tbsp unsalted butter

Pie Filling

  • unsalted butter
  • ½ red onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • chicken meat cubed
  • pasta sauce baby product
  • tomatoes diced
  • cup warm water

Topping

  • mozzarella cheese grated

Instructions

Mashed Potatoes

  • Cut potatoes and put in a steamer.
  • Once soft, remove and add into a bowl.
  • Add full cream milk and baby-safe cheese powder to the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix to incorporate.
  • Mash until mixture is soft.

Pie Filling

  • Melt unsalted butter in a pot.
  • Sauté chopped red onions and minced garlic.
  • Add ground chicken and baby-safe pasta sauce.
  • Add warm water into pan.
  • Add diced tomatoes.
  • Stir to combine ingredients into sauce.

Assembly

  • In an aluminium foil cup, add pie filling.
  • Add the mashed potatoes on top of pie filling.
  • Add mozzarella cheese on top of potatoes.
  • Bake in air fryer in 170° Celsius for 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Sweet Corn and Sago Porridge

  • fresh coconut milk

  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Add sago pearls into the mixture. Stir to incorporate.
  • Let porridge simmer until desired consistency. Serve hot.

A nice and cheesy bread pudding that is both delicious and filling, perfect for kids who love cheesier flavoured desserts.

  • 1 egg
  • 125 ml full cream milk small box
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp vanilla pancake mix

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine full cream milk, cream cheese, an egg and vanilla pancake flour. Sprinkle some date powder. Shred some bread and put in blender.
  • Blend ingredients until smooth and no visible clumps.
  • Tear 2 slices of bread and line bottom of cups.
  • Pour bread pudding mix into each cup until bread is submerged.
  • Sprinkle raisins on top of each cup.
  • Bake bread pudding in an oven preheated to 160°C for 20 minutes. Serve as desired.

This cheesy Malaysian dessert known as Cheesekut is a great option for mummies whose babies are in need of a bit extra weight.

  • In a pot, pour in full cream milk and heat up.

  • Once cooked, pour mixture into blender and blend until smooth.
  • Crush baby biscuits in a bowl or pestle.

Assembly

  • Place crushed baby biscuits into cups.
  • Pour milk and cream cheese mix into cups.
  • Repeat adding layers of baby biscuits and mixture into until cup is filled.
  • Refrigerate until cool. Serve cold.

Notes

This recipe uses mango-flavoured baby biscuits, but you can use any type of baby biscuits according to your baby's preferences!
