Ingredients

  • 500 g silkie chicken meat
  • 30 g longan
  • 50 g wood ear fungus
  • 10 pieces red dates
  • salt to taste
  • 3 slices ginger

Instructions

  • Clean the the silkie chicken meat thoroughly. Chop chicken into pieces, and boil it in hot water to remove the blood. Set aside.
  • Soak Wood Ear Fungus in water to soften it. Once soft, remove from water and chop it up into pieces. Rinse the red dates and remove the core.
  • In a pot of water, add the wood ear fungus, red dates, longan, and ginger slices. Add the silkie chicken pieces, and bring the water to a boil.
  • Once it is boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for one hour, or until chicken meat is cooked. Season with salt to taste, and serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 green papaya unripe
  • 10 g ginkgo
  • 100 g chicken
  • 10 g wolfberries
  • 5 g salt
  • 3 slices ginger

Instructions

  • Blanch the chicken to remove the blood and impurities inside the chicken muscles.
  • Peel and de-seed the green papaya, and cut into pieces. Remove ginkgo nut shells and rinse it thoroughly. Set aside.
  • Add green papaya, ginkgo, chicken, wolfberry and ginger slices into a cooking pot. Then, add water until it fully submerges the ingredients in the pot and bring it to boil. Close the lid, turn the heat down to low.
  • Let it simmer for 1 hour, season it with salt before serving.
  • Add the green papaya, ginkgo, chicken, wolfberries, and ginger into a cooking pot. Add water until ingredients are fully submerged.

  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 500 g chicken
  • 20 g  bell pepper
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 10 g garlic sprouts
  • 5 ml cooking oil
  • 2 g sugar
  • 15 g oyster sauce
  • 10 ml soy sauce
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 5 ml sesame oil

Instructions

  • Wash mushrooms and cut into four pieces. But bell peppers and de-seed them. Cut chicken into pieces. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch to make a marinade. Add the chicken and coat thoroughly. Leave to marinade for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Heat up the pan with cooking oil and sesame oil. Pan fry the chicken until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Immediately add the mushrooms, ginger slices, garlic sprouts, sugar, oyster sauce, soy sauce and some water into the pan. Let simmer under low heat until the chicken soaks up the flavors.
  • Add the bell pepper slices, and mix to combine. Serve hot.
