When you are 21 weeks pregnant, your baby is growing rapidly, your skin is changing and the movements of your little one in the womb are intensifying. Here are things that you can expect when you are 21 weeks pregnant. Baby's Size in Week 21 Your baby is now as big as an endive with a weight of 310g to 350g. Their might be 27cm longer as well. Baby's big enough now that you've probably been feeling his or her fetal movements more and more lately. Week 21 Development You might have felt more activity in your womb than usual, and that’s because the initial fluttering movements you might have experienced will now start to feel like proper kicks, nudges, twists and turns. While some people experience dry skin, others find they now have to deal with acne due to increased oil production. Try a gentle soap or cleanser, and stick to oil-free make-up and products to avoid exacerbating the acne. Swollen feet. This week, you may also find that your feet are swelling, but don't worry - your body has about 50% more blood and fluid than it did before you fell pregnant. What to do this week? Walk 30 minutes a day. This will be very helpful to stimulate your bowels and fight constipation. Even just a half-hour walk a day can do the trick, especially if you drink plenty of water and favor fiber-rich foods. Just remember to take some trail mix when you hit the trail. You might get irritated with the excessive hair growth on your legs, armpits, bikini line and upper lip due to the increasing hormones. Never choose laser as a solution as it is very harmful to your pregnancy. Keep caffeine low. Caffeine may perk you up, but it dashes the effects of iron. If you wash down that iron-rich steak with a cola, or that bag of trail mix with a coffee, you're reducing the amount of iron that gets absorbed into your system. Pregnancy shoot.
