On August 13, 2019, HP Inc. announced that SK Saujana Utama won the HP Little Makers Challenge and RM 20,000 in HP PC and print innovation.\r\n\r\nThe HP Little Makers Challenge reinvents the learning experiences through print for children between the ages of five to 12. The challenge engaged 92 schools and 31 arts centers nationwide to promote immersive learning powered by HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 Printer through a series of eight challenges covering arts, geography, biology, astronomy and other subjects.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOver 18,600 Submissions, 90,000 Activity Hours Spent\r\n\r\nIn total, HP Inc. received 18,600 submissions which translated to over 90,000 activity hours spent between parents, teachers and children to reinvent learning with print. In alignment with the Malaysian Ministry of Education\u2019s focus on technology-based learning, HP Inc.\u2019s Little Makers challenge was launched for parents, teachers and their children to play and learn together with print-based learning.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHP\u2019s New Asian Learning Experience Study\r\n\r\nThe challenge was created in line with local findings from the HP\u2019s New Asian Learning Experience Study, which showed that Malaysian parents believe that their children can benefit from immersive learning experiences.\r\n\r\n\u201cAs a parent and at HP Inc., we understand the importance that Malaysian parents place on their role in facilitating effective learning outcomes. We want to support parents in raising our future leaders by providing the right information, technology and learning experiences to ensure they have the required skillsets for workplaces of the future,\u201d said Fayza Mohamed Amin, Malaysia Managing Director of HP Inc.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe winning school was selected based on the highest number of submissions for all eight challenges. The winners were seven to 12-year-old students and their teachers from SK Saujana Utama from Sungai Buloh.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\u201cWe\u2019re so happy to have been chosen as the winners for the HP Little Makers Challenge. As soon as the first HP Little Makers Challenge was released, the kids were hooked! The challenges allowed them to be creative with the art projects while also exploring science.
