As the country continues its battle against COVID-19, AIA Malaysia wants to further extend its support to protect an increasingly vulnerable population – that is children and expecting mothers, by offering them a Free COVID-19 Hospital Income Cover. This offer is part of its ‘Anakku Sihat, Negaraku Hebat’ campaign which also features a newly launched comprehensive child solution. Through this free cover, AIA aims to provide a sense of security to all Malaysian children and expecting mothers by giving them a Hospital Income of up to RM150 per day for a maximum of 14 days, if they are diagnosed with COVID-19 and require hospitalisation. It is open to children (age 17 and below) and expecting mothers, including existing AIA customers to sign up without needing to purchase or participate in any AIA plans. The Free COVID-19 Hospital Income Cover is available until 31 December 2021, or when the total claims limit reaches RM 1 million, whichever comes first and is subject to terms and conditions.
