Oh my god, you are just 2 months away from the due date! Yes Mommy, when you are 32 weeks pregnant, there are two months left. How are you now? Are you curious about what will happen to you and your little one? Read on to find out more. How Big is My Baby? Right at this moment, your baby weighed around 3 and 3\/4 pounds or around 1.6-1.8kg. From crown to rump, he is measured around 41-43 cm or 11 inches long. You can imagine his size to the size of a napa cabbage; very small and cute, but he is developing well weeks by weeks. Baby's Development During 32 Weeks Pregnant While developing, your baby is shedding the lanugo continuously since week 30. Besides, he is also growing his hair, eyelashes and eyebrows since he is approaching the due date. He is getting closer to looking like the baby that you will see after the delivery. His organs are fully formed and he is giving his lungs some practices by inhaling amniotic fluid. \t Baby's Position During this stage, he is now standing on his head which means his position is facing down. But keep in mind that sometimes, certain babies still have yet to face down. They will face down a few weeks before the due date. He sometimes will change his position regularly and you would feel it. \t Skins and Nails During this stage, more fat is forming under your baby's skin. His nails will look more opaque instead of transparent like before. Moreover, get ready with little nail clippers because he is now growing his nails too! What does My Body Look Like? When you are 32 weeks pregnant you will likely face several changes in your mouth and gums where all these changes will cause you discomfort sometimes. And also, you will continually feel Braxton Hicks contractions too. \t Sensitive gums Some soon-to-be mom will face bleeding and swelling gums while brushing their teeth or flossing. Make sure to brush your teeth gently and use the toothbrush with soft bristle. This will help you a lot. Moreover, you may try to rinse with salt water. Saltwater helps to neutralize the pH level in your mouth. \t Teeth feel looser As you are pregnant, there will be hormonal changes too since your whole body is adjusting with the existence of the little bean in your womb. These changes will cause relaxation of your ligaments thus it will affect some tiny ligaments such as those that hold your teeth in place. You would feel your teeth looser a bit since the ligaments around the area are more relaxed. Don't worry because this will not cause you to lose any of your teeth and it will go away after the baby comes out. \t Mouth sores A mouth sore happens because your immune system is working overtime to protect your mouth from the bad germs. But, worry not as the sore won't last forever. It will 'shoo' away after you give birth. Symptoms When You Are 32 Weeks Pregnant \t Leg cramps Leg cramps are very common among pregnant women, especially during the last trimester. Even the doctors cannot tell the factors or the reasons why does this happen. You may try a massage or do simple stretching before sleep. \t Diarrhoea This 'annoying' symptom will likely happen to you when you are 32 weeks pregnant. It can also be a sign of preterm labour. If your diarrhoea seems bad and chronic, go and check with your doctor. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated by drinking enough water daily. Preterm labour's signs such as abdominal cramps, pelvic pressure, low backache, regular contractions, or your water breaking may and may not happen along with diarrhoea. If you happen to face these signs, do contact your medical practitioner for help. \t 'Pregnancy Brain' This term will usually relate to pregnant women in the last trimester. It is where you would feel forgetfulness or having difficulties in concentrating on certain works or chores. But it is still inconclusive since there is no exact research on it yet; even the experts are not really sure about it too. Your Bucket To-Do List \t Checklist on Baby Shower If you are planning to organize a baby shower or your friends would like to do it for you, this is the right time for it. Do some checklist on what you should do and should buy. \t Stock up the baby gear and nursery essentials I can bet that during this time, you will likely prepare all the baby gears and essential items for your little one. But if you happen to have not prepared anything yet, you may start now. Do a checklist to ease your work. \t Do a practice drive to the hospital Some people would ignore this, but you would never know that this will help you a lot when you are ready to deliver. Doing this will help you to track down how much time you will take to reach the hospital. \t Keep track on Contractions Tracking Chart Since you will be facing several Braxton Hicks Contractions, it is better for you to keep track on it. Do take note on how many times and which day you feel the contractions. Additional Tips on 32 Weeks of Pregnancy \t Be aware of unfamiliar symptoms Several symptoms like leg cramps and diarrhoea are familiar among pregnant women but please be aware of the odds one; such as changes in vision, sudden weight gain, and abdominal pain. These odds might be the signs of preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a pregnancy-related high blood pressure disorder. \t Keep counting his kicks Up until now, just keep counting your little one's kicks and movement. You can track down his activities and know that he is in good condition. \t Don't stress over stretch marks Stretch marks will most likely disappear once you deliver the baby. So, do not make yourself stressed out because of them. Yes, they do look disturbing but trust me it is one of the beautiful 'marks' that ever happen in your life.
