Eight Years of Celebrating Tradition Through Play
Marking the eighth iteration of The LEGO Group’s Chinese Traditional Festival sets, the brand has unveiled two all-new festive releases:
- 80119 LEGO® Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas – A dynamic horse motif combining LEGO bricks with a painted brush-style canvas, brought to life with a turn of a handle to symbolise “success upon arrival”.
- 80118 LEGO® Spring Festival Fortune Firecracker – A creative recreation of a classic Lunar New Year symbol with interactive features that reveal celebratory scenes and evoke the familiar crackling sounds of the season

Meet the LEGO God of Fortune This Lunar New Year!
- From 24 January to 8 February, spend RM188 in a single receipt at any LEGO Certified Store, answer a simple quiz and stand a chance to win exciting prizes when you pick a lucky charm from our LEGO Prosperity Tree.
- The celebration continues across three weekends from 5 to 22 February, meet the LEGO God of Fortune mascot at the Sunway Pyramid event on selected weekends and Lunar New Year time slots to enjoy a range of exciting festive activity stations.
Celebrate with The Mystical Horses of Play at Sunway Pyramid
Extending the celebration beyond the home, from 5 to 22 February, step into a world of festive fun and imagination with the LEGO® Gallop Into Playful Horizons event at LG2 Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid.
Join Hugo and his Ma family for a long-awaited and heartwarming reunion journey to summon the mystical horses of play.
As the festival returns, visitors will receive a mission card and be invited to embark on a playful journey through an oriental-inspired LEGO Chinese garden, where they can explore and complete four engaging activity stations. The activities include:
- Flow with Koi: Build your own LEGO Koi fish that symbolises strength and luck. Once the LEGO Koi fish is complete, place it on the display pond alongside its colourful companions, bringing good fortune to everyone who passes by!
- Herd Harmony: Share playful moments at the Herd Harmony activity station by teaming up with your families and friends to match the LEGO tiles. Each tile features a different design, and participants are required to find all matching pairs before time runs out.
- Reunion Route: Step into the spirit of the festive season by constructing the Reunion Route, a symbolic path that, with an auspicious word, brings loved ones back together for this festive season. Rotate the LEGO tiles to connect the correct trail to complete the journey of the reunion celebration.
- Garden of Reunion: Pen down heartfelt wishes for you and your family on the wish tag before decorating the communal wishing tree of shared blessings. With each wish added, the tree grows into a meaningful centrepiece that celebrates reunion and connects bonds that bring people together during the festive season.
Upon completion of these activity stations, children below 12 years old will receive an exclusive LEGO® Make and Take Horse, while adults will receive a special LEGO voucher.
