Jasmine Unveils Hearty Instant Bihun and Ready-To-Cook Briyani

Jasmine Food Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (JASMINE) has unveiled two brand new products; JASMINE XXL Instant Bihun and JASMINE PusaCream EZ Briyani Meals. In a statement, the Shah Alam-based rice producer said that the launch marks an important milestone for JASMINE as it expands its product offerings beyond traditional rice and bihun. During the unveiling event, JASMINE chief executive officer Lim Swee Keat said the new range of products were made to cater to changing consumer needs. “JASMINE rice has been a staple in Malaysian households for over 60 years. As consumer preferences evolve, we would like to continue serving them with new product offerings that fits their busy lifestyles” he said. The new JASMINE XXL Instant Bihun comes in two authentic flavours; Chicken Soup and Penang White Curry. As the name suggests, it comes in a bigger portion compared to others brands. “One pack is enough to satisfy your hunger,” said Lim. Meanwhile, JASMINE PusaCream EZ Briyani Meals is an extension of JASMINE’s popular PusaCream Parboiled Basmathi rice. It is a ready-to-cook product which comes with 400g of PusaCream Basmathi rice, briyani paste for the rice, and a choice of either Ayam Masak Merah or Kari Ayam paste. Just add chicken and a wholesome meal for 4 to 5 people can be ready within 30 minutes. “Consumers value quality and convenience. With the JASMINE PusaCream EZ Briyani Meals, they get to enjoy high quality Basmathi rice paired with tasty pastes that make meal preparations fast, easy and mess-free” he added. Both products are now available in most leading retailers in West Malaysia and online via JASMINE’s official e-store on Shopee and Lazada. The event also revealed JASMINE’s upcoming Chinese New Year Campaign called Priceless Memories Snap & Win Contest where consumers can win prizes worth over RM38,888.
