Energy drink Do not drink energy drinks during your confinement period. These energy drinks might have some vitamins but they also have a lot of caffeine and taurine. These might adversely affect your healing process. Iced lemon tea New mummies need to avoid consuming iced lemon teas. An excessive intake of this drink might cause rashes and fussiness with your baby. Additionally, iced lemon tea might irritate your stomach. This is not good for your postpartum body. Liquor You should not consume liquor after your childbirth. Liquor can make you feel weaker which is not good for your health. Let’s drink safe beverages during the postpartum period!
